Following tradition, we will have lightning talks from SOCS professors for the first colloquium of the academic. Come hear profs talk about their research and or courses they are teaching.  Following the colloquium, the computer science grad students will hold their annual welcom BBQ at Parc Jeanne Mance. 

There will be short talks from Brigitte Pienka, Michael Langer, Derek Ruths, Bettina Kemme, and Jackie Cheung.
