Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers and support women already working in STEM.

Come and celebrate Ada Lovelace Day (Tue Oct 8) with a brunch from 9:30am - 11:30am at the Coach House Room 200 (Education Building, 3700 McTavish) featuring a panel of speakers:

- Prof. Brigitte Pientka (School of Computer Science)
- Prof. Stephanie Weber (Biology)
- Dr. Racha Cheaib  (post-doc in Physics)

This event is organized by the School of Computer Science together with the STEM Support group, McWics, and Science Comm. Collective, and Women in Physics.
