Job Description
The Platform Development team is building the core platform-as-a-service (PaaS) technology that is the driving force for all applications built by ServiceNow and our enterprise customers. You will join the development Scrum team as any other team member and work side by side with them to solve real business problems.
Design the natural language processing components of ServiceNow NLU capabilities by enhancing core deep learning algorithms.
Participate in data collection, creating benchmarks, etc.
Develop innovative patentable ideas that ensure the competitiveness of this product within the domain of similar work being done in the industry.
Advance the natural language capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
Put to work your approach & system-design skill to building a deep learning solution
Collaborate with the team to evaluate your solution and to productionize it
Qualifications
Who you are
• Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD) in Computer Science or a related field • Solid Machine learning/Deep learning theoretical knowledge and practical experience • Experience using embeddings (context-aware embeddings/multi-model embeddings) • Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in C++, Java, or Python and working knowledge of JavaScript • Familiarity with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL • High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities • Preferred: Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications • Preferred: Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Natural Language Understanding (NLU) based solutions
