Position Summary
A research assistant is sought to work with our research group at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) on developing an evidence-based mobile app to empower older individuals (50+) with the knowledge and skills needed to optimize adherence to treatment recommendations for acute pain management following a fracture, taking into consideration the novel concepts of sex and gender-specific guidance, support of community pharmacists and of a peer e-network. The computer science research assistant will be responsible for collecting design requirements from patients and clinicians, conducting usability tests, designing, and developing a mobile app. The research assistant will also participate in routine laboratory activities and team meetings.
