Stall plates of the Knights of the Thistle, in one of the stalls in the Thistle Chapel, St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh. The upper stall plate in the rightmost column is that of Lord Steel of Aikwood, who was installed as a Knight of the Thistle shortly before this photo was taken (although appointed a Knight two years previously).
