About Yi

		I grow up in a small town of Hainan island, the southmost part of China. I left the island for my university studies at Tsinghua University, Beijing, when I was 18. It was my first time far away from my home. I was astonished and got excited by the energy of the capital city. But I missed the beach near my home, and the pals growing up with me, and my parents. After my graduation, I went back home and worked there for a while. But again I decided to leave home and went aboard as my grandfather 80 years ago. I really want to see how big the world is. So I arrived in the other side of the earth, Canada, for my graduate studies. I traveled to many wonderful places in North America and Europe. But I still missed the beach near my home, and the pals growing up with me, and my parents. So I went back to visit them in 2002. The picture on the left was taken on the beach near my home. The beach remains the same. But I found my parents are getting old, so are my pals, so am I...
