Botswana & Zambia - The road

North Western Botswana, just one long flat monotonous paved road. The Okavango delta on our left, the Kalahari desert on our right.
The roads soon changed to natural water canals. Switching to a means of transportation better suited for exploring the Okavango delta.
Zambia's roads were not always the easiest.
Following the mighty Zambezi river in the Southern province.
Heading North from Victoria Falls.
Down the escarpment to lake Kariba.
Typical dusty road-side town.
Most of the passing traffic consists of 18-wheelers.
Some roads were better than others.
Our final destination was a big change: Lusaka, Zambia's capital.
