I'm Jinxu, /dʒɪn'su:/. Heidi is my English name, deriving from a Swiss fiction. Currently, studying as a master student under the supervision of Prof. Doina Precup. Also working as a research assistant in the Reasoning and Learning Lab(MC 111) of School of Computer Science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
My current research interests lie within machine learning, time series analysis and social and information network analysis. I am also interested in application of probabilistic methods and other topics related to NLP and data mining. Please email me if you have any ideas or questions if you want to talk about.
A brief biography described here. Born and grew up in Xi'an, China. Went to the Wuhan University (Wuhan) in 2008 in the major of Software Engineering, enjoyed and fulfilled four years of study there and obtained the Bachelor degree of Engineering, with a thesis entitled Role-based Click-through Rate Prediction Model for On-line Advertising, in the summer of 2012. Worked as a research assistant in the State Key Lab of Software Engineering (Wuhan) from 2010 to 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Keqing He and Dr. Chong Wang.
I'm the TA of COMP 529 this semester. And my office hour is on Monday from 13:30 to 15:30 at TR 3110.
